I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Mr A Dunlan from Ballito branch who installed an inverter in my home in February 2020. It was faulty from the start. The two batteries were two different kinds, the solar inverter which was supposed to be 3000VA was a 2000VA. I had trouble from the first week and could not get him to sort it out. Eventually he took the batteries away and said he would get them replaced with new ones. He did this, but they were also faulty. The inverter would not work. He took that away and informed me that the supplier said it was not faulty so would not reimburse him. I have had another inverter installed by an electrician who found the wiring was not done correctly either. Mr Dunlan agreed to refund my money for the inverter and batteries but to date has not honoured his agreement. I urge everyone not to deal with this man.
He is a con artist. My brother has dealt with the manager of ACDC who does not seem concerned with my problem at all. I am very disappointed with the lack of service and total rip-off I have been subjected to.
